Who we are
Conseils juridiques Sophie Clément inc. (“CJSC inc.”) operates the site cjscinc.com. Sophie Clément acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information. Any question or request may be sent to sophie.clement@cjscinc.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us yourself through the booking form hosted by Google Calendar: your name, your email address, the name of your organization, the name of any other party involved, and the description you give of your situation. The cjscinc.com site itself collects no information.
Our host also records standard technical data, including your IP address, for the operation and security of the site.
Why we collect it
- To communicate with you following your request
- To carry out the conflict-of-interest check required before any consultation
- To schedule and hold the appointment
- To operate and secure the site
We do not use your information for advertising purposes and we do not sell it to anyone.
Your consent
By submitting the form, you consent to your information being used for the purposes described above. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Who has access
Only Sophie Clément has access to the information submitted. Two providers are involved technically: Google, which hosts the booking form, the email and the calendar, and Netlify, which hosts the pages of the site. These providers may store data outside Québec, including in the United States. We do not share your information with anyone else, unless required by law.
How long we keep it
If no mandate results from your request, your information is destroyed within twelve months. If a mandate is opened, it is retained in accordance with the record-retention obligations applicable to lawyers.
Your rights
You may ask to access your information, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to sophie.clement@cjscinc.com. We respond within thirty days. If our response does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to information is protected by password.
Changes
Any change is published on this page.
